For teeth whitening we use the the
Luma Cool™ Teeth Whitening System. This has proved
to be the best and safest way to bleach teeth. The system whitens
both arches simultaneously in less than an hour. Although not
everyone can benefit from tooth whitening (it cannot lighten
fillings or crowns, for example), most people with healthy
teeth are potential candidates.
The whitening effect will last for at least 6 months. As the
treatment doesn’t
damage your teeth in an way it can be repeated as often as you
want.
The Procedure
Tooth whitening is a simple procedure:
1.
The treatment starts
with a toothcleaning. Tartar will be removed and your teeth
polished.
2. A gel containing H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide) is applied
to your teeth.
3. The light from the Luma Cool lamp accelerates
the break-down of H2O2. The resulting free Oxygen molecules
penetrate the enamel and dissolve the molecules that cause
the staining and discolorization of the teeth. This will
take 8 minutes.
4. This procedure will be repeated 2 times.
