Cheek & Chin Implants

Cheek implants can be used to enhance features such as the cheekbones, or correct where fat has been lost in this area leaving a hollow expression.

It is performed under a general anaesthetic and you will stay in our hospital overnight. You will need to plan ten days to fourteen days off work following cheek augmentation. Expect some bruising and swelling to the operated area.

The implants are inserted into the cheek through incisions on the inside of the cheek, leaving no external scars.

A chin implant is a similar procedure. It is performed where the problem is a chin which does not protrude to the required extent and does not look in proportion with the rest of the features. Again , a general anaesthetic will be required and an overnight stay in hospital. Plan to take ten to fourteen days off work.
