Mills&Mills Marbella: Cosmetic surgery should be taken seriously it's not just a quick fix.

Marbella..David Mills director of Mills&Mills medical Group Marbella says that when considering cosmetic surgery patients should take the decision seriously and not treat it as a quick fix, something that can be undertaken in somebody's lunch hour.

He states "that patients must choose carefully as to where they will have their surgery and that the surgeon who is carrying out the procedure is fully qualified to do so. It's important that they choose a clinic that not only offers the best surgeons and facilities but also offers good post-op care.

The problem with clinics that do offer "quick fixes" is that they generally offer very little after care and advice and treatments are usually carried out by unqualified clinicians with very little training. It's necessary that patients use fully trained professionals to receive the right levels of surgical care."

Each year sees an increase of 10% of people undergoing some form of cosmetic procedure. A proportion of these patients will encounter problems because they have rushed into something without taking the right advice.
