"I
had been thinking about having a breast enlargement ever
since I started a family 5 years ago. I had done a lot of
research and the name Mills & Mills popped up time and
time again. Several friends and colleagues had undergone
the same operation and when my children turned 3 and 5 years
old I decided to go for it.
I arranged a free consultation
with Mills & Mills in
my local clinic in Gibraltar. Dr Vricella explained the whole
procedure, the risks and the benefits. He answered all of
my concerns and was incredibly professional yet friendly
throughout.
Louise, my patient care co-ordinator, booked the
operation and made me feel confident that I was in safe hands,
so much so I felt that I have know Louise for years and could
have asked her anything. She answered all of my questions
promptly by email and was available on her mobile phone whenever
I needed her.
On the day of the operation I met with Dr Vricella
and his assistant to confirm the look that I wanted to achieve.
The doctors were careful to ensure that the size and shape
were correct and that the end result was natural. I felt
100% happy to put my life in their safe hands.
The procedure
was a success, I woke up from the anaesthetic with the usual
discomfort, but the Doctors and Nurses done all that they
could to make me comfortable. Dr Vricella
came to see me several times after the surgery which was
reassuring and put me at ease every time I saw him.
Every
last detail was perfect, the hospital was nicer, cleaner
and more modern that any 5* hotel I had ever been to, the
staff were fantastic, from the Doctors to the kitchen staff.
My best friend had accompanied me throughout my stay and
was also accommodated and looked after by the staff at the
Marbella High Care Hospital.
The following morning the drainage
tubes were removed and when Dr Vricella was satisfied that
I was perfectly ok to leave he wished me well and arranged
for Damien, a nurse from Mills & Mills to give me my
medication and to discharge me. Damien explained the aftercare
procedure in detail and answered a few questions that I had,
he gave me his contact details where I could contact him
if I needed anything at all.
My best friend helped me get
my things together and Louise came to say goodbye, she reassured
me that if I needed anything at all I could call her or Damien
and they would be on hand 24-7. We then drove home from the
hospital back to Gibraltar.
I did have some discomfort, aches
and pains for about 3 days, all of which were relieved by
the pain killers that I had already been given. On day 4
I started to feel better, my first shower was a little strange
with the extra weight attached to me, but I was starting
to get used to my new shape. The stitches on the bottom
of my nipples were removed by Dr Vricella at my check-up
on day 9. And by day 10 I had begun driving again. I then
returned to work on day 14. I had a further check-up in Gibraltar
on day 15, when again Dr Vricella said he was very pleased
with the results, I told him that my breasts felt quite sensitive
and he explained that this was perfectly normal and should
subside given some more time.
Now nearly 4 weeks after surgery
I feel fantastic, the sensitivity I had been feeling is now
beginning to subside as I had been told. The scarring is
practically invisible, and my boyfriend is amazed at how
wonderful my breasts look – he even
describes them as a work of art and is extremely impressed
with Dr Vricella’s work! The size and shape are absolutely
perfect, I couldn’t be happier and am now looking forward
to the summertime!
I can honestly say with my hand on my heart
that I wouldn’t
have gone anywhere else, I would recommend Mills & Mills,
and Dr Vricella to anyone looking to have cosmetic surgery.
I feel like a new woman thanks to Dr Vricella and all of
the staff at Mills & Mills and at the Marbella High Care
Hospital. I cannot thank them all enough for the wonderful
experience, treatment are care that I have received throughout."
